During this past week I have been organizing my research into the techniques needed to make life easier when it comes time to edit my short film. I have been compiling a number of different premiere pro and after effects tutorials that detail some of the things that I am going to be doing in my project. I have also been creating presets in these applications for transitions and effects that I will use later so that I can avoid having to start making these from scratch. Creating these presets is relatively simple, but can save me a great deal of time and effort down the line.

I have also been using this time to research the different methods of animation that I will be using and the feasibility of the lengths of the animations. By planning out this information ahead of time I can set myself a reasonable length for the film as the end goal. This way I can also allow myself to do more for the film if I have time, but not get carried away with a lofty goal.

One of my primary goals with this project will be to produce the film and leave myself enough time at the end to make changes if need be. At the moment a lot of my prep work and research is going into how I can most effectively use my time and make this process as easy as possible for me.
