My Senior Thesis idea is to create a Visual Album which is based on mental health and Suicide. What inspired this idea is my interest in the topic. Suicide is a very serious and sensitive topic. I believe that it is something that should be talked about. So why not talk about it in song form. On top of that, why not add visuals. All of this can come together to create a deep, heartfelt message to society. This project represents my personal values just from being what it is, music. I want to create music. Though the tone of what I am creating with this project is very dark, that is not necessarily the type of music I want to create. I would like to create more lighthearted music but I feel as though I cannot do that until I get this off of my chest.

I think that people should be interested in this project because it will have a message that should be heard. I plan on telling stories through this album that may relate to people. Stories that may bring awareness and spark peoples concern in the topic. My target audience is anyone ages 13+. My idea is an improvement over existing work in the area because it goes the extra mile of providing visuals behind each song. Visuals that will tell a story beyond what is being said.

The software that I will need to complete this project is Logic Pro X for the music and Adobe Premiere Pro for the video editing. The hardware that I am going to need is cameras (2-3). I am going into this project with limited knowledge of each aspect included. I am slightly acquainted with Premiere, Logic, Cameras, and songwriting. So this will be a learning process throughout its entirety.

The factors that will determine my projects look and feel is everything that I spoke about so far. From the topic to the storytelling to how deep I learn those software. All of this will come together to create something that I see being a very distinct and special project.
