I will be making three wire frames of my website all with different set ups and different color schemes. I hope to learn which the users will find easiest to use and which is most aesthetically pleasing to the eye. To get this information I plan to observe how me peers use the site and see where the trip up and where they seem to breeze through. Also I will talk to them and ask them how do they think I can improve the site, what aspects should I keep, which should I removed, and which need work.
What I will learn from these prototypes will determine how I will build the actual site and what aspects I need to include in the design of the real website.

Pete, this is a good overall structure–iterative design is an effective technique for ensuring improvement during rapid development.
With that said, it would be helpful to have a little more detail here about how each prototype will differ from the previous ones. I’m assuming that you’ll start with something relatively simple, then add in more detail as well as updates to reflect previous feedback in the later prototypes, but you may want to think through the details of what goes in each version.
