Prototyping

Rashid’s Prototype Sprint #1

For the first prototype sprint I brought in a prototype of the cover art for my visual album, titled “Scars”. The image contains a highly saturated picture of my arm from a couple of years ago. I received a lot of constructive feedback from my peers. A lot of people liked severity of the scars on the arm in the image. The main criticisms were of the font and sizing of the image. I learned that I need to resize the image to fit the likes of an album cover. As far as the font, I need to try different versions to see which one fits best for the aesthetic. Someone gave me the idea of adding a blood effect to the font to make it seem more disturbing. Another person suggested the font actually being written in blood. I like both ideas and will attempt both of them to see which one people feel is more affective.
