This week, I mostly just talked to people about what my thesis project is on (pitch practice? !) and continued looking at different home designs I would like. All of the people I talked to from different backgrounds such as Political Science, Interactive Multimedia, Marketing, Finance, English, Computer Science, and Computer and Electrical Engineering they thought it was am amazing idea since it touches on topics/problems we are dealing with today! All of them were interested in learning more about tiny home living and the costs it could save them. Most people didn’t give more feedback other than this, but the ones who did (mostly the Engineers and PoliSci majors) warned me of the feasibility of building the full scale model. They suggested I start with building a smaller scale model (which is what I was planning to do anyways). The good thing about getting to talk to different people is that some may ask you questions on logistics and specific costs while others may grill you on design. It helps you focus your project more. I still need to talk to a civil engineer to see what they think about this project.
