While writing my songs I have ran into some difficulties figuring out how I want to write them. So I did some research on songwriting and I found an AMAZING tip. The tip was to write from a unique perspective. Initially I was going to try and write the whole thing from my perspective, but writing from perspectives that aren’t mine sounds way more fun and interesting. The example that was given was “Stan” by Eminem, where he raps from the perspective of one of his obsessed fans. Doing so, he also comes in as himself towards the end of the song. It is a great concept that can add an extra level of intensity to a song. Finding this helped me with my problem and I am going to start writing from different peoples perspectives to tell the story I want to tell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
